    Hello,

    I was wondering if it is possible to change the title from Archive to something else, and to remove the information about the post date and comments.

    Thanks.

    Hi Sophy,
    Are you reffering to page title : “Category Archive” as example or to post’s title, displayed on that page ?
    Regards

    Well, I named the page Portfolio, which then dragged in content from the theme files – the portfolio side. So I’d like to remove the title it’s given the page “Archive” to something like “Our Work”

    Hi Sophy,
    Just a question about your portfolio page, can you please tell us why are you not using the default portfolio layout https://teslathemes.com/demo/wp/universe/?page_id=243
    This is the default archive page and if you will change it’s title for portfolio archive, it will be changed for simple blog post archive as well
    Hope this makes sense to you

    I didn’t realise I wasn’t using the default template?

    You are using the portfolio archive page and not the default Portfolio grid styled page, it’s because you have created the Portfolio page and using the Post Name permalink settings, in result you were getting the http://www.beechwebservices.co.uk/portfolio that is a standard archive page of the portfolio custom post (WP standard)
    In order to create a portfolio like in our demo, please edit the page slug to anything else like www.beechwebservices.co.uk/portfolio1 and set the page template: Portfolio

    I don’t want to have to change the page url, but I changed the template that the page is using and haven’t noticed any change.

    Having said that, I just noticed I wasn’t using the Post Name permalink settings, I was using custom with http://www.beechwebservices.com/%postname%/

    update – upon changing the slug name to our-portfolio, it’s reigning in the template, however not the portfolio posts I’ve set in the Universe theme?

    And just a final question, how would I remove the author and date details?

    Using Custom CSS:

    .project .project-details li{
        display: none;
    }
