    Hey Teslathemes,

    I’d like the featured images on the iCook theme’s home page (highlighted in red in the attached image) to be clickable — and on-click, I’d like them to go to the post URL. It doesn’t make any sense to have a giant image and not have it link to the article!

    Can you please tell me the code snippet I should add, and which PHP file/ line # I should add it to add it to?

    Thank you!

    Best,
    -Nate

    Hi Michael,

    No theme update notification appeared in my WP back-end, which led me to believe that the new version has not been published. I downloaded and installed iCook manually from my Teslathemes dashboard just now, and the functionality has not changed. I don’t think that the updated theme has actually been published yet? It seems like there is no difference between the ‘new’ version and the last.

    ALSO: the social media icons that appear in the sidebar widget point to “SITEURL.com/SocialMedialink.com/ProfileName,” which means that the widget doesn’t work (all of the social media buttons point to 404s)

    Thanks!

    We can see that you are using a child theme, please try to disable it in order to see if something changes, also you can provide us with your WP credentials (as a reply to this email you just get in order to keep the sensitive data safe and private) and we will take a look !
    As for the problem with socials, we have seen that you are using incorrect links like this one : http://www.facebook.com/honmono.co
    Please use such links : https://www.facebook.com/honmono.co
    Hope to hear from you soon,
    Best Regards

    Hi there,

    I have just installed this today, and the featured images were not clickable in the recently downloaded theme.
    Any idea on why this is so?

    Thanks!|

    Hi,

    For some reason, after a few hours the images are clickable. I am guessing one of my browser extensions and/or plugins were interfering.

    All is good!

    Thanks,
    Alexandra

    Hi,

    Just to let you know:

    The two posts above are a bit confusing, I know. What happened is I was looking at post listings in different page-types: archives, category listings, and so on. These were not clickable, even though they were the same type (or so I thought), of content type.

    I have modified the files in a new child-theme (retetelemeledragi.com), for:

    • **- archives**
    • **- (content-blog) to affect search aspect & behaviour** (I also had a slight issue with the `.search .content .blog-entry` padding and border here. I had to add a bigger padding on the above class, like so: `.search .content .blog-entry {
      padding-bottom: 155px;
      }` Because the border was going off higher then normal.
    • ** – category pages**

    It all looks fine now, however for someone looking at this from a UX perspective, all the featured images present in any type of listing should be clickable, once the homepage images become clickable. Just a thought.

    Regards, Alexandra

    I’m not sure if I’m posting this in the right area, but I’d like to have the featured images on the front page clickable… the recent posts images are clickable, but not the “recent posts”. Can you please provide me with the code (and where it goes)?
    Thank you!
    Mindy
